Los Cristianos
Los Cristianos is a very popular resort in the South of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. A quieter resort than it's next door bigger and more vibrant neighbour Playa de las Americas.
The resort is therefore very popular with families with young children, older couples and singles, and those not wanting a dance till dawn environment. There is a large number of Brits with there own holiday apartments in Los Cristianos such as the San Marino Complex.
Los Cristianos is situated in Southern Tenerife in a sheltered bay, and has the warmest and mildest climate all year long. It is next to its larger virtually merge together neighbour Playa de Las Americas, and unlike Playa de Las Americas, Los Cristianos is not a purpose built resort, but has developed from a small fishing village to an International tourist resort. Although the harbour still has fishing boats you are likely to see more pleasure craft and ferries.

Perhaps more suited for a visit on a cloudy day are the Jardines de Atlantico situated just outside Los Cristianos. They are open daily from around 10:00 and offer a free bus from the resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas for the short trip to the nearby village of Buzanada. Your trip around includes commentary by an English speaking guide and lasts around an hour. In amongst the banana plantations they have a model of Tenerife that explains the water system. At the end of your visit they have a small shop selling banana related products and a cafe.

PuebloChico
Once upon a time there was a magic place, Pueblochico, where everything is smaller than we are and our dreams are made bigger with every step. A theme park on the Canary Islands, with miniatures of its most emblematic buildings. A unique walk through our magnificent architecture, our splendid nature and our impressive past. A fabulous experience, where emotions and technology join efforts to stimulate all our senses and enhances the beauty of the Canary Islands.
